I got something similar: my address was right but the name was wrong, plus a refund of £8.41 (big win, I guess). Took a closer glance at the cheque and saw the £8 was labelled as units, and the signature looked dodgy. There was a shiny hologram seal in the corner, but I felt something was off instantly. Lucky I stopped to check this site before trusting it.

I got a call from Fairmead Insurance about some rebate for interest on an old policy, said I hadn’t sent a cheque for less than ten pounds. Seems dodgy to me, I reckon it’s a scam.
