At first, it seemed legit like a proper banking call, but then they tried to get me to buy a gold bar worth £760. They even gave me an address to post it to, saying the amount wouldn’t leave my account straight away but only show as pending. Turns out, it was supposed to be some sort of test to catch the scammers. Definitely a dodgy setup!
