My mate got a ring from 03305330250, claiming to be NatWest. She actually uses NatWest, but that number isn’t really theirs - it’s a scam. Today, I had a call from 03309123123 about my Santander account, but it was a dodgy, fake fraud alert too. Looks like some proper organised scam group is behind these calls.

Beware, this is definitely a scam. They try to "verify" you by asking for your customer number and then want your pin or password, which is a massive red flag. The genuine NatWest just uses voice recognition when I call them. If you're worried, better ring the number on the back of your debit card instead.

Right, I got this dodgy text claiming to be NatWest, from a UK number 07506 326 337, saying some weird device was added to my app. Thing is, I don’t even have a NatWest app! So, I rang NatWest myself and they said it’s definitely a scam. They mentioned I might get another call soon asking me to change details or something. I just told them I’d sort it myself. If you get something like this, maybe use a different phone to call your bank straight away instead of replying.

Just got a weird text supposedly from NatWest. I double checked with their help chat online to see if it was legit.
