Really not happy about it.2 yearsTotally a scam, stay clear!3 yearsToday, I received a rather peculiar call from this number, claiming they wanted to discuss some £20 'transaction' dated 18 November with my late wife. It's absolutely absurd, as that’s clearly impossible! I've gone ahead and reported the incident to both Action Fraud and Halifax.Action FraudHalifax3 yearsI've received calls from individuals posing as representatives of the fraud department at the Bank of Scotland. They clearly have dubious intentions.Bank of Scotland3 yearsGot calls and texts from someone pretending to be the Bank of Scotland's fraud team. They messaged saying my credit card had been used without permission. Total scam!Bank of Scotland3 yearsLloyds Bank, you say? Just yesterday, I got a message from them stating that they had turned down a charge of £1019.00 on my card for a transaction linked to a firm in the Philippines. The message mentioned that there was no need for me to get in touch; all they required was a simple 'yes' or 'no' to verify if it was indeed my purchase. Then, today, I received a voicemail from this number, assuring me that Lloyds Fraud Prevention had spotted some online activity on my card and wanted to assist in thwarting any fraudulent attempts. They referenced a “token” (a three-digit number) that I was supposed to provide when returning their call for security verification. I attempted to return the call using the number from their voicemail, but it turned out to be blocked. So, I tried dialling the number directly, only to be greeted by a recording requesting that I “press any number on the keypad to conduct a fraud check.” I mean, really? I ended up hanging up the phone!Lloyds BankPhilippinesLloyds Fraud Prevention5 yearsWARNING! This is a total SCAM, definitely not the Halifax fraud department.
