They claimed to be from EON but then asked who provides our electricity. Then they tried to set up a visit even though we already scheduled one. Bit confusing really.

I started filling out a form online for a free home insulation check but never hit send. Then this EON number rings me less than an hour later, no voicemail though. The second call actually left a message but it was so fast and muffled I could barely catch anything except "Eon" and my first name, even after replaying it loads. Annoying, but guess they’re legit. I've decided to block the number now.

scam alert: i got a call from this number and as soon as i picked up they just hung up on me. it feels like they’re fishing for me to let it go to voicemail so they can call back and charge a fortune. they claimed they were from eon saying they needed to check my boiler or read my meter - total nonsense. avoid this number, it’s dodgy!
