Got a dodgy call from a young woman claiming she needed to speak to Accounts Payable. When I asked for some details, she couldn’t give me anything concrete. She said she’d check the invoice number and the name of the person she needed, then ring me back… that was about three hours ago and still no return call. Definitely seemed like a scam.
