I got loads of calls but ignored them. When i did pick up once, no one spoke and it sounded like they just hung up. Then, i saw a charge on my bank statement from PRO OKMK9[###] which i didnt recognise. Before that, this company had already taken 1.10 from my account without me knowing. I told my bank straight away and had to cancel my cards.

In early Nov 2010, we got charged £4.95, followed by £85 on 21/11/20, then again £85 on 21/12/20, and the same £85 on 21/1/21. We contacted our bank and stopped any further payments. Somehow these scammers got access to our card. Each payment had a different company name. They began as Plusnow but now use the name Nowfit. WATCH OUT! No idea how this phone number relates as we never signed up for anything or made a call.

Got a call from someone claiming Tesco said I’d won a phone if I just sent £1, but then it suddenly cut off. Today I found out they’ve taken £49.95 from my bank account. I’ve already let my bank know about it.

This kinda scam's been around forever but still gets folks. Seriously, why do people fall for these dodgy offers without even looking into them? You should report it properly to the cops in your area. But honestly, if you hand over your bank info to some random person online just for a "free"bie, you're practically inviting trouble.

This company is a total scam, they sneak money out of your bank after you sign up for their so-called “free trial.” I've contacted my bank and trading standards about it, and luckily I’ve got all my money back up to now. Hermes was the one who delivered the first “free” sample, so I’m trying to figure out where it’s actually coming from. Absolutely awful business practice.

Heartless scammers charged me 4 times with £85 and £82 without permission. I’ve already begun disputing it with my credit card company. The calls came from 03303 801569, and the person spoke with a foreign accent.

I replied to a web ad that supposedly had backing from Dame Judi Dench. The usual routine mentioned elsewhere - send out free product samples, just cover the postage. Neither product came with any "patient info" and the "jelly pots" weren’t sealed. They charged £85 and £82 on my Visa credit card, merchant number and phone listed as 03303801568. Tried calling and emailing but no luck reaching anyone. Visa is now sorting the dispute for me.

I went through the same thing. Has anyone actually managed to get their money back from them?

I received a free trial once but then they charged me £82 and £85 right after. When I called my bank to sort it out, they passed me on to the company but they never gave a proper answer. Next thing I knew my service was just stopped. Seriously, don’t bother replying to their ads, it’s just a way to scam you for cash.

I replied to a Facebook ad for CBD oil, which was under the name David Attenborough. It said free sample just pay postage. Instead, they sent me pills and gummies. On my bank statement dated 21 Oct 2020, there are two charges: one for £80 and another for £82! The payments are listed as Promix Manchester 033033801118. I looked up the number and it seems not to be real, or maybe it’s their bank’s number - no one ever called me. So be careful with ads that don’t show a proper company address but offer free samples. Number to watch out for: 033033801118.

On 25th October, £82 and £85 were taken out of my bank account without my permission. I contacted my bank and they have stopped any further withdrawals, but by then, I’d already lost £167. Promix in Manchester is definitely a scam. West Country here.

Absolute rogues. Took £89 and £85 for a trial deal. They claimed it was on auto-renew but no goods showed up. I’m gonna report them to Trading Standards. They said they’d give me half back but I asked for an email confirmation and got nothing. Don’t fall for this lot, they’re a nightmare.

I’ve had two charges taken from my bank, one for £82 and another for £85. I only paid for the postage and packaging for a supposedly free sample, but since then they’ve taken advantage of me big time.

Its definitely a scam, they kept going on about £69 a month for some supplement that looks fake. I even had issues with my credit card trying to stop the payments after the trial finished. Proper annoying 😡😡😡😡

Guess I’ve been somewhat fortunate. So far, they’ve only managed to withdraw two payments totalling £43.50 from my bank. It’s awful how these lot prey on folks who are dealing with pain. The number I have is 0330380157, seems to be linked to Kanavance Oil. I had to call my bank twice to halt the payments; they did cancel the first time. Since then, I’ve tried to ring the scammers back, but the number isn't coming up. This definitely feels like something Matt Allbright and Watchdog should be sorting out, doesn't it?

My mum went through a pretty similar thing with Proheal Liverpool like loads of others. She replied to a Facebook advert and ended up having £89 taken from her bank account for three months straight. The bank finally blocked any more payments, but when she called this number, they kept saying she hadn’t cancelled within 14 days so no refund was coming. She never got anything after the first trial, so I’m not sure what this so-called ‘subscription’ was all about. Definitely an expensive mistake.

Joan Lee I rang this number 03303 801118 after sending back the item a fortnight ago but they claim they’ve not got it and have taken £170 from my bank. Honestly, this company can’t be trusted at all.

I got scammed as well. They took £89 and £85 from my bank without my permission, plus a couple of smaller charges supposedly for postage. I've contacted them by email and phone three times now, and every time the person I speak to says they need to check with their manager, or that the refund's in progress, or there's some issue with their system. Also, it’s pretty hard to understand the staff on the phone since English isn’t their main language.

I got tricked by them too. I called 03303801118 and they said I’d get £89 and £85 back. We’ll have to wait and see. This is actually the second time I’ve called. I’ve also seen they’ve switched up their brand name.

Ive also fallen victim to this scam, they took £89 and £85 from my bank in July, then again on 23rd August. They claim to block any more payments but ive already lost £384 overall from my account. Such a frustrating situation.

i got scammed by this company as well. i followed all the terms after getting my free sample and cancelled within the 14 days, but then i saw on my bank statement they’d charged me £89 and £85 on 15/7/2020 and 14/8/2020 from proheal liverpool, adding up to £348! i called them and was told a refund would come in 4 weeks. then i emailed them and now they claim i didn’t follow their terms. i emailed back explaining i did, and now i’m waiting to hear. honestly, not very hopeful tho. seriously feel like something needs to be done about this.

Last month I got hit again with this rubbish, they took £87 and £85 straight from my bank. I phoned them and they said they wouldn't send anything else. The bank can't get my money back but they say they can stop any further payments. I reckon they've just changed their name so they can keep taking from my account. Absolute con artists, taken £65 twice last month and again yesterday. Never agreed to any contract whatsoever. Tried ringing them back but the automated voice kept saying I was number two in the queue, then number one, then five, after 20 minutes I gave up. Contacted my bank and they connected me to Visa. Spoke to a bloke called Adrian, who said he’d try sorting a refund but I’m not expecting much. Fingers crossed he’s managed to stop the ongoing payments? Got this so called free sample of kanavance cbd oil, some ad backed by mary baker, judi dench, helen mirren and ed sheeran. Paid like £4.95 for postage and stuff. Waited 8 days to get it.
