Funny thing is, someone mentioned here that it’s a caller trying to “help save money on energy bills”. I actually used Uswitch earlier today to compare energy tariffs because my budget deal is about to finish. Bit odd I get a call like this now, isn’t it? I never gave them my phone number when I did the search, only my email! Maybe they got my number from when I switched providers 3 years ago. I picked up the phone and a lady inquired about my name. She mentioned that she was calling from 'the boiler people'. Since both my gas and electric accounts are under my partner's name, it was quite evident that this was a telesales call. I politely declined her offer and ended the conversation.
