Some foreign bloke calling who barely spoke any English was rambling nonsense I couldn’t get a clue from. Didn’t even let me say a thing to tell him I was lost with what he was on about. Proper sketchy, definitely some sort of scam, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

Honestly, how many times do these scammers expect to get me to fall for their tricks? This was like the 50th time they've called me. You'd think by now they'd realise no one's daft enough to hand over cash to them!

I picked up the phone but quickly hung up once I realised it was a dodgy call trying to sell home insulation.

Someone rang up saying they were from a loft insulation company, trying to persuade me to book a supposedly "free" survey. I said no thanks, but they kept pushing, so I just hung up.
