Got a call showing up as O2, but it felt dodgy, so I decided to ring O2 myself. They told me they never actually ring customers out of the blue. Weird thing was, the caller ID showed O2, yet they said someone had been poking around my account without my okays. Proper scam situation!

This number keeps ringing me, then leaves a weird robotic message saying I got a call from 02 today. Proper annoying!

I got two calls from this number today. I usually just block calls from numbers I don't know, but it showed up as O2 on my caller ID. After looking it up here, I'm pretty sure it’s not actually O2 and it’s just some kind of scam.

They rang up saying I could get a new S25 and that they'd send me a prepaid Mastercard loaded with £250 to cover the remainder of my contract. They tried to sweeten the deal by offering cheaper airtime and free extras to persuade me to upgrade.

O2 have verified this number is linked to a scam, so if you’ve shared stuff like your text security code or answered any security questions, you really need to ring 202 and file a fraud complaint. What they do is order a new phone using your account and get it sent straight to themselves. After that, the bill lands on you to pay for the phone.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2's sales team, saying they wanted to offer me an upgrade. They already knew loads about my O2 account, which was a bit concerning.

some bloke called saying i could get the new iPhone 17 as an upgrade. he even knew i had two phones on my plan and rattled off my bill and upgrade details. said i could switch both phones over from my iPhone 16s to the 17s in no time. how do they get all this info? i told him if i was gonna upgrade, i'd just pop into the O2 store since they sort all my data transfers anyway.

Got a robocall from a number claiming to be O2, saying something like "you had a call from O2 today, we can’t connect this call. Press 1 if you don’t want more calls from us," then it just cut off. I’ve gotten around five of these in the last couple weeks. Looked up the number, saw this site, and went ahead and blocked it.

Some dodgy lot pretending to be from O2 called me, trying to trick me into a scam. They got all annoyed when I told them I was nearby and could just pop into the shop myself.

Someone called claiming to be from O2 and seemed to know loads about me, like my name, phone number, and even my bill total. Sounded convincing at first, but when I said I’d get back to them about upgrading, the caller kept pushing to call me again immediately. I decided to ring O2 myself straight away. The woman I spoke to was really helpful and said there was nothing on their system about anyone calling me. She confirmed the number wasn’t from O2 and passed my details over to their fraud department.

The other day my partner got a call from someone who said they were checking if we were happy with our service. They didn't mention 02 straight away, only said it when she asked who was calling. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Wouldn't trust them at all, they had some info about my account which was weird. I've already told O2 about it though.

Got a call from a young woman saying she was with O2, trying to sell me an upgrade. She had no idea what phone or plan I was on but was pushing a deal that sounded pretty sweet. Ended up just hanging up on her. Honestly, sounded a bit too convincing, so watch out!

Somebody pretending to be 02 called me, but why would 02 ring up someone they know is deaf? Seems fishy to me 🤡 I'd say report it to Action Fraud and contact 02 direct.

Got a call from some guy who said he was Sarj from O2, kept asking for my security details. I told him straight up I don’t share that over the phone with random callers. Then he started saying I was strange for not giving it to him. I just told him I wasn’t being weird at all.

I got a few calls from someone saying they were from O2, trying to push an upgrade on me. When I asked if I could just do it through the app, they said no, it has to be sorted out by phone. Bit annoying really. They rang me at least four times in one day and even sent messages when I ignored the calls. Not interested at all!
