Got a call from this number saying my washing machine warranty was about to expire and asking if I wanted to renew it. I mentioned I already have a 5-year cover in place, and she just said goodbye and wished me a nice day. The washing machine is actually nearly a year old but it’s registered under my partner’s name. The only place my phone number appeared was on the delivery receipt. Seems like they must’ve gotten my details from the delivery team at Currys (PC World).

This number keeps ringing me up saying the cover on our washing machine has run out, but to be honest, that machine’s gotta be over 20 years old by now! Completely fishy, definitely scammers!

Somebody rang me up saying it was about my washing machine warranty, saying it’s run out. Then they offered to renew it for less money or something. I think they were after my bank info, so I didn’t trust it.
