They like to say they're ringing from your existing gas supplier. For me, she said she was from CLEAR BUSINESS. I usually ask, "Can I run a line check, is that alright with you?" then I quickly google the number, see it’s not legit, and tell them they’ve been caught out. If more people did this, maybe the scammers would get the hint. If they're genuine callers, well, tough luck, they really shouldn’t be doing sales calls to numbers listed on the TPS anyway.

As soon as I picked up the call, it was cut off straight away.

I received a rather odd call from a gentleman about my life insurance policy. He expressed a desire to go over the details with me. However, when I declined to provide any personal information, his tone shifted dramatically, and he became quite rude and confrontational. Quite uncalled for, really!

Got a voicemail from them, just a 4 digit code 1348... no caller ID or anything to explain who it was. After reading these comments, I'm going to block the number. Watch out, they tried a different number on me but left the exact same voicemail message. 0330 341 1897

I rang them about life insurance and said I didn’t need anything, but they kept pushing to check my current policies. I told them it wasn’t necessary and then ended the call.

I got a call from a woman named Michaela with an American accent, she knew my name but I couldn’t catch where she said she was calling from. When I told her I’d never heard of her, she just said thanks for my time and ended the call. Feels like it was probably one of those annoying sales calls?

Got a call from a number with a Helmsley, Yorkshire code on my phone. I’ve no mates or contacts from there. Didn’t pick up and they left no voicemail either.
