2 yearsThere's a company calling up called Claims Advice Bureau, claiming they'll handle your claims for you. But I’m pretty sure the genuine Claims Advice Bureau doesn’t cold call people and uses a completely different number.Claims Advice Bureau2 yearsThe line was really clear. They started with, "Do you recall we handled a case for you some years back?" then asked, "Was it about PPI?" followed by questions like, "Do you have any older mortgages?" and "Any old loans?" It felt like they were fishing for details to see if they could find a claim to chase on my behalf, saying the usual payout is around £10,000. They clearly had no real info on me or my finances. It’s just a random cold call and could easily be a scam, who knows. Be careful, they don’t give up easily.2 yearsYet again, got one of those dodgy scam calls today.2 yearsGot two calls from them today, really pushy and rude. They kept insisting they’d already handled my PPI claim, which is completely untrue. Super aggressive about it too. I blocked the number, but they just called me again from a different one. This time, they said they wanted to manage a car loan for me - something I’ve never taken out before. Proper annoying!2 yearsGot called by 03303422739 - definitely a scam, so watch out.2 yearsGot calls from this number twice within a couple of days while I was away on holiday. I didn’t pick up and they never left a voicemail. Sounds like a scam to me.2 yearsSo this bloke rings up talking about some mortgage I supposedly claimed for, which is nuts because I’ve never even had a mortgage. Then he switches to some story about a mis-sold car loan. Proper persistent bloke and really irritating. I was under the impression all this nonsense got sorted years ago with the new rules?!2 yearsI've had them call me loads, but they never bother leaving a voice mail or anything.2 yearsI reckon this was just a case of bad info, not some missold mortgage! She kept telling me stuff that just wasn’t right at all.2 yearsJust cut the call off after a few seconds without even saying a word.2 yearsI picked up the phone and they just went silent then hung up, seems like a scam to me, probably got nothing better going on.2 yearsthere was loads of noise when they called, sounded weird, not sure what they wanted - probably some kind of scam?2 yearsThis number rang me earlier today. I picked up but the call was ended straight away. No clue what the point was, but my guess is it might have been some sort of scam.Submit Your Own Report (0330 341 1749)
