Some bloke rang me claiming he was from the UK Governor Council Housing folks and said he needed a word about how the council or housing lot had neglected fixing up my place. Kept banging on about it being no-win-no-fee and all that. I called him out straight away when I heard his Pakistani accent and he couldn’t even verify my address or any issues I supposedly reported. Proper fishy if you ask me.

Some robot voice came on saying "Hi, I'm Jess, how's it going?" I just ended the call right away.

I got a call from this number earlier, and the person said something like "hello, I’m a money advisor." They asked how I was, but when they gave their email it all sounded super robotic.

I called this number back thinking it was a cheap hospital line, but an automated voice asked, "how are you today?" so weird! I’ve ended up blocking the number now.

I was expecting a legit call, so took this one, but as soon as the voice said they were 'Jesse from Money Advice Helpline' and knew my name, I just hung up straight away. Looking at other comments here, seems like I made the right call (pun intended!). Be careful, everyone, these folks probably deal in selling your info, which is definitely dodgy.
