I went through the process, but you need to wait until the call finishes for them to say they’ve updated their records. They also double check your number a couple of times before removing it. Make sure to report any dodgy calls to the police and let them sort it out. There’s a system already set up for this on the UK police website. Just search ‘action fraud’ and head to the phishing report section. At the bottom, you can fill out a quick form with no need to sign up. Use the free text box to give details about threats or foul language. Reporting these scams is the best way to help stop them!
