Got a call pushing a funeral plan on me, which is weird since I’ve already sorted all that out with a will and everything. They kept going on about what’s best for my husband after I’m gone - problem is, I don’t have a husband, or any kids for that matter. When I told them I honestly couldn’t care less about the details of my own funeral because I won’t be around to see it, the caller got really annoyed. Totally rude and pushy. Wouldn’t recommend picking up if you get a call from this number.

I got a call from a bloke named Marcus, claiming to be from Sterling Legal from Manchester, ringing me on 03303410848 at about 3:29pm on 23/06/2022. He was asking if I’d sorted out a will yet. I told him to ring back the next day, 24/06/2022. Then he started trying to push a funeral plan on me, which I said no to. After a quick search online, I found out this was one of those dodgy scams, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Watch out for calls coming from this number. The person who rang me claimed to be with Taylor Sterling Legal. But when I had a quick look online, I found on the gov.uk website that this company was officially closed down in 2019. So, how can someone say they’re working for a company that doesn’t exist anymore? That’s got to be dodgy and probably illegal, right? Best to just steer clear.

I think this number might belong to a call centre linked with charity groups, like those related to cancer research or something similar, but it’s tricky to know who’s behind it for sure.
