Had a call from a number starting 0330, which from what I know are usually big companies or charities in the UK. But I quickly figured this was probably another annoying spam call, so I just declined it and blocked the number straight away. Nowadays, I don’t pick up if I don’t know who’s calling, cause almost every unknown call seems to be some pointless scam or spam, and they don’t bring me any good at all.

He kept trying to say my name right, even when I told him I wasn't interested in his insurance deal. Bit of a dodgy geezer, really. Can't say I envy his job though, must be rough. Honestly, mate, you’d have a better time if you took up something like building work instead. Way more rewarding.

Got a call and picked up but there was nothing said at all. The line just stayed open for about two and a half minutes, dead quiet. I finally hung up. At least while it was ringing me, they weren’t trying to con anyone else!

I got a call from one of those call centres, said they wanted to talk about a survey.

The person on the line was clearly attempting to fish for my personal details. He started off quite courteously, pretending to be doing a comparison for life insurance. He expressed an interest in looking over my existing policy and went on to suggest that he had a more advantageous life insurance offer to share with me.

At first, they started off asking loads of really personal stuff, which made me a bit suspicious. They claimed they could reduce my life insurance costs. I was quite naive and believed them at first, but then I noticed plenty of the details they mentioned didn’t add up at all.
