Been getting a few calls off this number over the past couple days, maybe five in total. I picked up one time thinking it might be someone legit, but as soon as I said hello, the line just went dead. Bit annoying really.

It's always the same thing, block one number and they just call from a different one. Honestly, there should be some rules so you can't just buy a UK phone number unless it has a special code or prefix or something.

The person on the line addressed me by my first name and claimed to be representing a company whose name I didn’t quite catch. When he started asking me to verify my postcode, I couldn't help but respond, "Aren't you the one calling me? Surely, you should have that info?" I humoured him for a minute, but then he abruptly ended the call. Felt very dodgy indeed!
