I called back since I thought it might be an important call, but it turned out to be one of those annoying PPI spam calls. The guy on the other end was pretty pushy, so I didn’t hang up quickly enough.

Be wary of these premium rate phone call scams. I was tipped off by my mobile provider, and I urge you to steer clear of them! These scammers ring you up and cut the line as soon as you pick up, clearly attempting to trick you into ringing them back. The charges they impose are outrageous, to put it mildly. Honestly, just don’t bother calling them back! Thankfully, I managed to get my call fees refunded - kudos to EE for sorting that out! 🤓

I'm fed up with these incessant calls from a number I don't recognise!

I tried calling back the number that showed up missed, but to my surprise, it turned out that it wasn’t even a real number.
