Regrettably, I fell for the tricks of some con artists posing as loan providers and ended up losing £422.00. *** STAY AWAY *** The numbers they contacted me from include 0300 123 2040, 0330 223 4254, 0330 223 4251, and 0202 548 6548. I've taken action by reporting this to the authorities, including the Police, Action Fraud, and I'm sending all the information to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau. My bank has had to cancel my card and advised me to monitor my direct debits carefully. It might also be wise to run a credit check through services like Emporium, Noddle, or Credit Score, just in case they decide to misuse my information, which could negatively affect my credit rating in the future. These scammers are truly despicable. Such utter scoundrels!

I received a call from someone purporting to be a lending institution, insisting I provide an upfront payment for the first month. I complied, but shortly thereafter, they demanded an additional £450 before releasing the funds. Quite the dodgy operation, if you ask me!

I recently received a call from this number, and they were trying to push an unsecured loan my way. However, they demanded £350 for some kind of payment protection insurance upfront. I firmly declined and ended the call straight away. It’s clearly a scam! Avoid any loans that expect you to fork out cash in advance.

If a lending company requests payment before they provide you with a loan, steer clear of them-it's a sign they're likely not legitimate. I fell victim to such a scheme a few months back; they wiped out my account but left me without any funds or loan. Quite the outrage!

I’m hoping to get some clarity regarding a certain phone number I received a call from today. The individual on the other end claimed to be from a legitimate loans company and mentioned offering me an unsecured loan.
