I just received a rather suspicious call. They were aware of my name and address but didn’t mention my landlord’s name to confirm anything. They claimed to be from the repair and disrepair department and mentioned they’d ring me again on Monday. I’m holding back on sharing any further information since it might be a claims company that's known to operate in this manner. Best to be cautious, I reckon!

AVOID GIVING YOUR HOUSING INFORMATION TO THESE COLD CALLERS! It’s certainly a compensation-related inquiry, not affiliated with any government housing initiative or similar. I’ve reached out to them myself, and it turns out they’re just a claims firm. They lack any knowledge of my housing association. They’ve managed to grab my name from some social housing register. They promise to advocate for your repairs and seek compensation on your behalf, taking their share of the winnings, of course!

I've tracked down this number to 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF, belonging to someone named Stuart Wright. So, at least we’ve figured out where this con artist resides! It’s not surprising he’s in such a lovely, spacious home - clearly, he’s busy ripping off unsuspecting folks!

So, I got two calls I missed yesterday from this number. Then today it rang once and I picked up but they just ended the call straight away. I'm going to block it now.

I just got a call on my mobile from this landline number, and the person said they were from housing repair services. That’s dodgy because we’re in a housing association and all our maintenance is dealt with directly by them. On top of that, the caller didn’t even get my name right, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.
