When I mentioned that I was a council employee, the caller completely panicked and attempted to wiggle out of the situation. I made it quite clear that should they dare to ring again, I would not hesitate to pursue legal measures.

Sanako Service Ltd is a dodgy outfit based out of the Marshall Islands. They run a bunch of shady businesses selling stuff like PCR tests, life insurance, holiday properties, live bullets, and crypto. Some sites connected to them include coin-mining-farm.com, riveraammunition.com, finvestings.com and mindmining.com. They even use fake numbers to pretend they’re UK firms or genuine companies. Apparently, they launder cash through ClearJunction.com. Make sure you report any suspicious calls to the FCA and Action Fraud in the UK.

They kept ringin me from these numbers: 0799, 0367, 0443, 0440, 0449 and 03301900 0450. Really annoying how persistent they were!

They’ve been ringing me non-stop for days, didn’t pick up this time and just blocked the number!

The guardian app on my phone recommended that I should steer clear of answering a call from this number, suggesting it was likely a spammer. Curiosity got the better of me, though, and I picked up. I received a call from someone claiming to represent the Council and a Housing Association, insisting that they were sorting out unfinished repairs. Oddly enough, they seemed completely unaware of my name, my address, or even the town where I reside. When I pressed them to clarify what details they had on file, suddenly the line went silent. It’s quite clear to me that these individuals are no good; they appear to be scammers attempting to breach personal accounts, luring you into conversation to buy themselves more time.

I've had enough of these persistent calls! I've told them to sod off several times, reiterating that I don't rent any property. Instead of taking the hint, they responded by saying there’s no reason to be rude. Well, I argued that there absolutely is when I've clearly requested on three occasions that they cease their incessant calling. The only way to get rid of them seems to be to block their number entirely.
