No clue who that was, they didn’t even bother to leave a message. Proper annoying if you ask me. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

This caller was incredibly tenacious. Without a doubt, he had a carefully prepared spiel at his disposal. He claimed he could help with a Covid-19 business interruption insurance claim, and even inquired if I’d received any government grants related to Covid for my business. I made it clear that I wasn’t keen on his pitch, yet he persisted in ringing me repeatedly, much to my annoyance.

I got a call claiming to be from council repairs but felt fishy, like they were fishing for who owns which house for some dodgy scams later on. Best thing is not to say anything, just put the phone down. Honestly, if they keep ringing at all times, don't be afraid to give it back to them a bit ruder once you've had enough.

Been getting calls for a few days now and my phone keeps flagging them as possible fraud, so I blocked a couple of different numbers today. When I finally picked up, the person said they were from some council housing maintenance team. I told them they had the wrong number as I own my house myself, not council-owned or anything like that.

If only I had an old-school fax machine with an autodial feature; revenge would be mine!

I tried giving them a ring and greeted them with a cheery "Good Afternoon," but to my surprise, they left me hanging-no reply whatsoever, and then the line just went quiet! I did a bit of digging and it appears that the previous call I received from 0330 0190 0450 was also from India. What a coincidence!
