This number left about four messages on my voicemail, claiming to be from a company working with Harrow Council checking lofts and cavities. A couple of weeks later, I foolishly called them back and shared my email and mobile number. They set up a visit for the 15th of August 2023, between 10 and noon. Before the appointment, I rang and left a message cancelling it since we’re moving soon and there was no need for any inspections. That’s when it dawned on me it was probably a scam. Luckily I haven’t handed over any bank info, so hopefully no harm done.

Got a call out of the blue from someone asking if we had loft insulation done. Quite random! Not really sure if it was a sales pitch or just checking. Bit odd to ring up like that without any warning.
