I received a call from a rather mechanical voice claiming to be associated with housing repairs. If memory serves me right, they introduced themselves as "Sarah from housing repairs." Quite peculiar, wouldn't you agree?

Didn't even bother to leave a voicemail this time, so I'm pretty sure it's just another scam call.

Right from the start, I could tell it was some sort of AI calling about housing repairs. When I asked if it was a robot, the person on the other end denied it and then just abruptly said, "Alright thanks, bye," and hung up. Totally feels like a scam to me.

Sounds like a bot to me. Someone rang and said they were calling from the Housing Disrepair Team. They kept repeating the same thing in a flat voice. When I told them "you’re an AI," they just cut the call straight away.

Got a call today from some dodgy scammer using an AI voice to pretend they were from a housing repair programme. At first it sounded kinda genuine but then you could tell it was just a robot. It's a real shame these idiots keep harassing people, especially those who are already struggling. Proper lowlife scamming vulnerable folk like that. Wish there was an easy way to block these ####.

Got a call from someone called Sarah, said she was with the housing team and wanted to talk about repairs for a house I supposedly lived in. I asked which house exactly, and she just kept saying "the one you lived in". When I pressed for the address she just fumbled and couldn't give me anything. Then she mentioned damp and mould issues, which was news to me as I never had that problem. Clearly had no clue who I was or where I lived - felt like a dodgy caller just fishing for some work or info.

Got a call earlier, didn’t say anything and they just hung up. When I checked the number online, it turned out to be a common scam. I updated my voicemail ages back so it doesn’t have my name, number, or even my voice, but scammers never seem to leave any messages anyway. Things were way easier back when I first got my mobile in ’94. Now, after 30 years, these dodgy calls are way more clever. Just a heads up to everyone!

Just got a call not long ago from someone claiming to be Sarah at x housing. I couldn't quite catch everything, but it seemed like some sort of automated message because when I replied, their answer made no sense. Even when I didn't say anything, they kept talking like I’d asked them something. They mentioned something about mould and damp issues in my home.

Got a call about 'housing repairs' earlier, sounded like a robot with a woman’s voice. You could tell someone was probably just clicking stuff at a keyboard while it spoke. Definitely felt like a scam.

I decided not to pick up since it reminded me of some dodgy calls I've had before, and after reading the bad reviews here, I'm relieved I didn't. I've blocked the number now, but I reckon that won't really stop them ringing again, will it?

I got this weird automated call saying something about cracks and damp from the housing department. Honestly, if only I had some fancy housing team to fix my old Victorian house! Just ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.

I usually don’t pick up if the number looks unfamiliar. This time, they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail, so my guess is that it was probably some kind of scam or just a random cold call.

Got a call from a really polite lady asking about some damp problems she'd claim I reported at my place. Thing is, I never actually reported anything like that, so I'm pretty sure it's just some kind of scam.

This woman with a really friendly tone and a British accent rang me up, asking all sorts about how my day had been. I was curious so I asked who she was and why she was calling. She just gave me her first name and said something about my 'housing issues'. I told her I own my house fully and there aren’t any problems, then I ended the call.
