Got a text from someone claiming to be HSBC, saying I've changed my password. They told me to ring them if I hadn't done it. Luckily, I checked the number before doing anything.

Got a call from this number earlier today, and the bloke on the other end was proper rude and sarcastic. When I said I wasn’t gonna give him any info, he got really aggressive. Even after I told him he was just wasting his time, he wouldn’t end the call. Plus, he couldn’t even say what make or model the car was, or what the registration was, even though he claimed I owed finance on it. Such a waste of time.

I’m getting calls from this firm pretty much every day now, it’s getting really annoying, almost like harassment. No matter how often I tell them to stop, they just keep ringing again and again. I even had to lose my temper with them earlier today. It’s not right, I don’t even know how they got hold of my phone number. Someone oughta step in and put an end to these businesses and the people who sell our info to them.

I keep getting voicemails from someone called Sarah at Samson Collier almost daily, which is annoying since I hardly ever turn my phone on. She’s talking about car finance refunds, but that’s not something I’m involved with. I’m not even sure how to find out which number they’re calling from, and after reading other people’s experiences, I’m guessing complaining won’t get me anywhere. It’s frustrating because I end up paying just to listen to these messages. Not happy about it at all.

Got these calls for a couple weeks now from all sorts of numbers, it's clearly a dodgy AI scam. A voice called Sarah says she's from Samson Collier and talks about some car finance refund, but I don’t even own a car or have car finance. They keep switching numbers every time I block one, ringing me daily. Honestly, they ought to be prosecuted and locked up for this sort of fraud.

For the last couple of days, I've been getting calls from these bots using an AI voice, all from different numbers. Every time, I block one, another pops right up. It's so annoying - someone really needs to put a stop to this!

I keep getting calls from 01618505394, this bloke Samson Collier or someone using his name. He manages to ring me even though my phone blocks unknown numbers. This guy’s always talking about some car accident claim and says he can get me £5,000 compensation. Thing is, that’s not even my name and I’ve told him I don’t have any claims going. Is there a way to stop these lot from calling and bothering people like this? It’s really annoying.

I've dealt with this company, and I must say it's been quite a frustrating experience. They profess to handle PPI claims related to loans on which I've already paid tax. After reaching out to HMRC, I found out they issued a cheque to Samson Collier. To put it bluntly, their service has been appallingly sluggish. It feels like they’re just not cut out for this kind of work.

The number 03301748168 belongs to a company that got a cheque from the Tax Office on 10th March, as they managed a PPI claim on my behalf back in 2019. Since they take a cut, the Tax Office sends the refund straight to them. But I never got the remaining amount I was owed. Loads of others seem to be in the same boat, so I’ve reported it to Action Fraud. The director’s name is Carl David Grundy. Definitely worth flagging this to both Action Fraud and Trading Standards.

I've found myself in a similar predicament where the HMRC has forwarded my tax rebate to them, and they ought to pass it along to me. Their explanation is that the cheques have been wrongly addressed in their name, and as a result, their bank is refusing to process them. Regrettably, HMRC isn't able to verify if these cheques have been cashed or not. Meanwhile, I'm still left without my funds!

I’ve fallen prey to this fraud myself, thinking I was signing up for a legitimate process to reclaim taxes on my PPI claims. To my dismay, I just got a letter from HMRC stating that I’m entitled to a tax refund related to my work earnings, but it’s been sent straight to Samson Collier. It’s a right stitch-up; they’ve effectively swindled me out of the funds that should have been rightfully mine.

I had a rather interesting conversation with a chap named Samson Collier. He seemed friendly enough and mentioned he was getting back to me regarding a letter that had been sent to my previous address. Apparently, there’s a tax refund of over £700 that I’m supposedly entitled to from a PPI claim, and all he required was my email address to forward the necessary paperwork. I mentioned that I was a bit preoccupied at the moment, and he graciously offered to ring me back later. However, during that time, I took a quick detour to the "Who Called Me" site, which only confirmed my suspicions - seems to be one of those scammers. Can’t wait to see how his follow-up chat unfolds!

I had provided them with my email address, but as soon as I heard the request to enter my National Insurance number on some online form, I thought, “Not a chance!” In this day and age, you can’t be too careful; these scammers have become quite crafty and can really jeopardise your personal details with just a mere link. So I firmly declined to click on anything. The chap was exceedingly convincing, which only raised my suspicions about what they truly wanted from me regarding some tax refund related to my PPI. He went on about how they had supposedly mailed me a letter-total nonsense! I told him to send another; clearly, I wasn't falling for his spiel. He seemed rather pleasant and appeared to possess an alarming amount of my personal information, such as my address and specifics regarding an old PPI claim, including when I lodged it. He mentioned they were in the process of filing for a tax rebate on my behalf and requested my email address in order to send a letter of authority with a link. Curious about what information he needed, I inquired further, and he listed things like my National Insurance number, date of birth, and signature among other bits. I received a rather dodgy call on my private landline from a bloke sporting a northern accent, who claimed to represent Samson Collier. To my surprise, he had an alarming amount of personal details about me-my full name, address, postcode, and of course, my unlisted phone number. He mentioned that I had previously engaged with Samson Collier regarding a PPI refund a couple of years back, which, incidentally, I had. He then asked for my email address, and I gave him a disposable one just to be safe. Shortly after, I got an email containing a link to an online form he wanted me to complete. Once I opened the link and glanced at the form, I told him I needed to verify a few details on my end and requested that he call me back. To be honest, I’d never even come across them prior to this, and their reluctance to disclose how they obtained my details raised my suspicions. Their approach was overly aggressive, continually pressing for my information. Feeling uneasy about the whole interaction, I decided to report them to the Telephone Preference Service and the Information Commissioner's Office due to potential data breaches. Better safe than sorry, right?

I've just had a rather unsettling experience with a firm calling themselves Samson Collier Marketing Ltd. They claimed to be reaching out about tax refunds from HMRC related to PPI claims, but honestly, I've never heard of them prior to this. When I inquired about how they came across my details, they were rather evasive and didn’t seem to have much information to offer. The person on the other end was quite insistent and didn't take kindly to my challenges regarding their cold-calling practices. They really seemed to flinch when I brought up GDPR regulations. Overall, a rather dodgy encounter!
