Got a call from this number earlier today, and the bloke on the other end was proper rude and sarcastic. When I said I wasn’t gonna give him any info, he got really aggressive. Even after I told him he was just wasting his time, he wouldn’t end the call. Plus, he couldn’t even say what make or model the car was, or what the registration was, even though he claimed I owed finance on it. Such a waste of time.

I’m getting calls from this firm pretty much every day now, it’s getting really annoying, almost like harassment. No matter how often I tell them to stop, they just keep ringing again and again. I even had to lose my temper with them earlier today. It’s not right, I don’t even know how they got hold of my phone number. Someone oughta step in and put an end to these businesses and the people who sell our info to them.

I keep getting voicemails from someone called Sarah at Samson Collier almost daily, which is annoying since I hardly ever turn my phone on. She’s talking about car finance refunds, but that’s not something I’m involved with. Got these calls for a couple weeks now from all sorts of numbers, it's clearly a dodgy AI scam. A voice called Sarah says she's from Samson Collier and talks about some car finance refund, but I don’t even own a car or have car finance. The number 03301748168 belongs to a company that got a cheque from the Tax Office on 10th March, as they managed a PPI claim on my behalf back in 2019. Since they take a cut, the Tax Office sends the refund straight to them. But I never got the remaining amount I was owed. Loads of others seem to be in the same boat, so I’ve reported it to Action Fraud. The director’s name is Carl David Grundy. Definitely worth flagging this to both Action Fraud and Trading Standards.

I've been dealing with a similar problem where the tax office sends my tax refund to this company, who’re meant to pass it along to me. They say the problem is the cheques are made out to them wrong, and their bank refuses to cash them. On top of that, the tax office won’t say if these cheques have even been cashed or not. All in all, I still haven’t received any of the money!

My ex-directory landline rang recently, and the person on the other end had a strong Northern accent, claiming to be from some place called Samson Collier. Oddly enough, he seemed to know quite a bit about me - my full name, where I live, even my postcode, which was strange given my number’s ex-directory status. He mentioned that I’d already been in touch with Samson Collier a couple of years back when I sorted out some PPI repayments - which is true, I did manage to get some money back then. He asked for my email, so I gave him one I use just for situations like this, and shortly after sent me a link to fill in an online form. When I checked the form, something felt off, so I told him I needed to look into it more and asked if he could ring me later. He agreed with no fuss. After that, I called the Police on 101 and then reported everything to Action Fraud, just to be safe.
