I got a call from a guy who said he was Sam from British Gas, asked how I was doing. I told him we use a different provider now and he was kinda quiet for a sec, like caught off guard. Then he just said “oh” and I ended the call. Pretty sure it’s a scam since he had no clue what my name was and sounded really surprised when I mentioned switching suppliers.

Got a call saying they were from British Gas, trying to set up an energy advisor visit. Whenever I asked about details of the service, they couldn’t really give me clear answers. Then when I asked if I was talking to a real person, they just cut the call straight away. Felt like it was some kind of automated voice or a bot.
