I got a call from someone saying it was about some housing problem I supposedly reported, but I have no clue what they were on about since I never reported anything. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Some bloke rang me saying he was following up on a damp claim I’d apparently put in. I asked where he got that info from, and he said they deal with loads of councils and housing groups around here. I told him I own my house and it’s not council or anything like that. Then I asked which company he was with, and suddenly he just cut me off.

I picked up and heard nothing, must’ve been some sort of scam call.

Always rings but never leaves a message, so it can’t be anything urgent. My phone even flags it as spam.

They mentioned some damp problems in my flat and then tried to connect me to another bloke. Pretty sure it’s just a load of nonsense to trick you.

They rang me around 3.30 in the afternoon but didn’t say anything or leave a message.

Got a call from someone who didn’t say where they were calling from, just a quick “hi, how’s it going?” I asked what they wanted, and they said something about house repairs I supposedly reported. Told them they had the wrong number. Then suddenly another voice came on asking if I’d reported any damp issues, that’s when I told them to jog on and hung up. Definitely seemed like an AI scam, watch out for these.
