3 monthsThe person called me earlier pretending to be from some claims team, saying they wanted to assist with a car accident claim I'd supposedly made in the past year. I decided to humour them and said I’d crashed my Bugatti into several Lamborghinis and Ferraris which made them stop for a bit. Then they asked for all my personal info like bank details, address and ID like my driving licence or passport. I told them I didn’t actually need a licence to drive my remote control car. After that, the caller just hung up. Honestly, quite amusing while it lasted! :)3 monthsThey claim to be an Energy Advice company but it's all a con. They try to gather tons of your personal details and want payment upfront before offering any real assistance. When I questioned their legitimacy and why they rang me even though I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, they turned rude and started shouting.Energy AdviceTelephone Preference Service3 monthsI let it go to voicemail 'cos I wasn’t around to pick up, but they never bothered to leave a message.3 monthsGot a call earlier and no one spoke until I kept saying 'hello' a few times. Then a woman’s voice piped up asking, "Can you hear me alright?" Immediately I thought of those scammers tryna get you to say 'yes' so they can record it and misuse it later. I asked who was on the line and she said something about a solar advice team. I told her not to ring back and ended the call. Seems like a pretty clear scam to me.3 monthsI've had loads of calls from the number 0330 174 5101 lately. They claim to be some sort of Energy Advisory team but it's definitely a con. They try to get tons of your personal info and push you to pay them upfront without giving any actual service. When I asked them why they were calling me even though I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, they got really rude and aggressive. Not worth engaging with at all.Energy Advisory3 monthsPhone rings all the time about some loft insulation thing. It’s just some automated voice that keeps repeating itself and tries to trick you by asking if you can hear it, but then ignores any reply. I’ve blocked about five numbers already, but they just keep calling from slightly different numbers. Absolute bunch of dodgy tricksters that really ought to be banned.3 monthsGot a call earlier, said they were from some Legal Help about an accident I supposedly had recently, asking if I recall anything about it.3 monthsGot a call from someone saying they were with a home insulation company. They kept going on with their spiel even after I told them it’s a shop and hasn’t got a loft at all. Wouldn’t take no for an answer.3 monthsI didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail.5 monthsDidn’t get a voicemail or anything, just a missed call. When I checked, it looked like some dodgy link about house repairs. Best to just ignore it, probably a scam.5 monthsSounds dodgy to me - they said they were from some housing issues dept. but it came from a call centre and I couldn’t figure out who exactly is behind it. No mention of any council, government or legit company. Might be a scam.5 monthsWhen I picked up, they didn’t say what company they were calling from, which struck me as odd. Once I asked, they said something about fixing up houses, so I immediately realised it was a scam.Submit Your Own Report (0330 174 5101)
