I just ended the call straight away.11 monthsSomeone was on the line trying to get me to switch my electricity supplier but I kept telling them to stop. They just wouldn’t take the hint and then ended up hanging up on me.11 monthsTotal scam alert! Someone rang saying they were from "SSE Power" and promised savings on electricity and gas bills. Problem is, "SSE Power" isn't a real company - they just mashed together SSE and Scottish Power. Also, SSE itself doesn’t actually sell gas or electricity to regular customers. They run different branches: SSE Renewables generates power, SSEN Transmission handles it over the national grid, and SSEN Distribution takes care of the local grid.
