I’ve just had an unexpected and rather intrusive phone call from this number. The individual on the line alleged they were ringing from Tricity Bendix, trying to persuade me to renew the warranty on my washing machine. The irony is that my Bosch appliance is practically still in its infancy, being only two months old! Clearly, a new warranty isn’t necessary.

This number keeps ringing me day after day. I finally picked up and some geezer with an Irish twang was going on about a Hotpoint washing machine I supposedly own - which I don’t. Told him to stop bothering me, but he was pretty nasty and insisted no one had been ringing me from that number before. Honestly, just block it!

I just got a call from a robot voice saying I’ll be charged £200 tonight for some kind of subscription or fees. It didn’t say what exactly I was being charged for or give any company name. The automated voice also didn’t mention my name or where I live, which seemed odd.

I got a call out of the blue, supposedly from Tricity Bendix, talking about an extended warranty for a washer we don’t even own. They didn’t even know the fridge model that we don’t have. When I told the bloke to get lost because I’m sick of scams, he started getting rude. He didn’t hang up either, just kept on pushing. Whatever you do, don’t say yes or no - these muppets will twist it to claim you agreed to buy something.
