These people ring me from loads of different numbers, I’m almost out of space on my blocked list. This particular number and others like it have been all over the place - sometimes it’s just silence, then insurance offers, car crash claims, computer problems, funeral plans, and even life insurance (do they know my future or something?). The weirdest was when the Doctors Medical Council called about the meds I’m on. They even gave a registration number to verify them! Shame the DMC doesn’t actually exist though, and guess what - I’m a surgeon, lol 😂

Some bloke called saying he was from housing repairs or something like that. I just hung up straight away, didn’t trust it one bit. My house ain’t got any problems and it’s not a council place anyway, so why would they bother ringing me?

I picked up but they just cut the call straight away. I’m guessing it’s about life insurance since I recently asked Polly for a quote. Ever since then, I’ve been getting bombarded by tons of other firms.

Had another ring from the same number today. This time the guy actually spoke, claiming he was with some sort of call blocking company. Said he was sorting out my call blocking settings and dealing with those annoying telemarketers. Proper weird.
