Got another one of those scam calls again today, always coming from numbers that look almost exactly the same, just the last couple of digits change. Seriously, how on earth is it fair that these people keep pestering us nonstop? It’s a constant annoyance and time-waster! It’s infuriating that no one seems to step in and stop them. I’m fairly alert, young and healthy enough to just block and ignore them (even if it really winds me up). But what about those who aren’t as lucky? The government really should stop faffing about and do something about this instead of turning a blind eye.

I've been getting loads of dodgy calls lately. The number switches up just a bit each time, but it's always some spam trying to sell me lottery tickets, funeral plans, or warranties for stuff I don't even own. They rang me about seven times over the past couple of days, anywhere from 7 in the morning all the way to 9 at night. Proper annoying!

Got a call from this number earlier today. I swear I already had a call from something similar last week, so I blocked it then. When I looked back at my call history, today's number was almost the same, just the last two digits switched. Today’s was 0330 174 1274, but last week’s was 0330 174 1272. Obviously the same scammers playing the number game. Didn’t pick up either time and made sure to block both. Bloody scammers, honestly.

Some woman kept going on about how I supposedly had insurance for my fridge, freezer, washing machine, and cooker through her firm. Then she tried to fool me into thinking she had my bank info already and just needed me to confirm it to start a direct debit. I kept telling her I wouldn’t give any details, especially since she should already have them if what she said was true, but she wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Got a call from a young bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Appliance Direct. He said my white goods insurance had expired and that he could get me a one-day-only "best deal" to sort it out. Thing is, I don't even have any white goods insurance! When I asked for a phone number to call back on, he couldn’t give me one, even though he’d called me on this very number. Then the line just went dead. I’m not convinced Appliance Direct is even a real company. Feels like a total scam to me. I’ve blocked that number straight away.
