A person with an Asian accent asked if I was Mrs... (my partner’s name). I’m not married, so when I told them I wasn’t Mrs... and asked who they were, they just hung up. Seems like they’re just collecting names and guessing that if a woman picks up, she must be the Mrs - even though the name is definitely a lad’s. I suppose they do the same thing the other way around! Either way, it was a completely unsolicited call, so I’m thinking it’s a cold call or some kind of scam.
