BARCLAYS just sent me a message with a One Time Passcode 081621 for a payment of 622.71GBP to HARRODS - Ref: JL9210A. It said if I didn’t make this payment to ring their fraud team on 0330 165 8961. But honestly, it’s a total scam. When you ring that number, they claim to be the “real” fraud team and say they’ll assist you in recovering your money or securing your account... but really they’re just after your details to scam you even more. Stay clear!

Just got a message from 'BARCLAYS' telling me my one-time passcode is 083621 for a payment of £622.71 to HARRODS with ref JL9210A. I never made any payment like that and I don't even have an account with Barclays, so it looks like some sort of scam to me. If you didn’t do this, they say to call their fraud team at 0330 165 8961. Definitely seems dodgy.
