Just the other day I left a comment about this and since then I’ve had loads of calls from different numbers, but all seem to be from the same scammers. Some other numbers tied to this are 02038613293, 02038613294 and 02033222305. When they rang last time, I made it clear I wasn’t going to give any details and that I was onto their scam, after that they stopped calling.

They claimed to be from O2 and said I had to update my details because I’d switched from Virgin to O2. Apparently, there was a new portal set up because of some problems during the switch, and they warned the old one was going to be shut down soon.

Claiming to be from O2, they wanted me to provide my security responses. I'm dubious about their intentions!

Got a couple of calls back to back from some people claiming to be O2, turns out it was a scam from some Asian scammers. They kept ringing non-stop until I finally blocked the number. Proper shady and annoying behaviour, really dodgy. Be careful, they’re quite persistent and not to be trusted.

Got two calls from this number but didn’t pick up as I didn’t recognise it and wasn’t expecting anyone. They didn’t leave any voicemail either.

Got a call claiming my Virgin account was overdue and they needed to urgently check my bank info. Total scam, no doubt about it.

My phone showed "Possible Scam" so I didn't answer. The caller didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either.

It seemed like a dodgy call right from the start, and it got marked as suspicious while they were still on the line.

Beware of scammers! Got a call from someone claiming to be O2 a few hours back, asking for my name and email to supposedly transfer my account to some new “O2 system” because of the Virgin Media and O2 merger in 2021. Honestly, it was hard to understand them at first, which made me super wary. I ended up ringing O2 directly and they said they never called me or set up any new system. Definitely a scam, so don’t share any personal info if you get a call like this.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgin and O2, saying they had to update their system. Then they tried to pass me onto a manager to offer some kind of discount. I told them I wasn’t up for it and ended the call. They didn’t give up though and rang me two more times after that.

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. My phone provider flagged it as a potential scam, so I decided not to pick up. After checking the reports here and what the provider said, I’m going to mark it as a scam and block the number.

This number sounds like a scam to me. They said they were calling from Virginia and wanted my email plus some feedback about O2. I'd avoid giving out any personal details to them.

I got a call claiming to be from O2, trying to check on security stuff, and then they wanted my email which I wasn’t comfortable sharing. Honestly, I couldn’t really catch what the guy was saying properly, so I just said sorry and ended the call.
