If it were genuinely my mortgage provider reaching out, they have no shortage of my landline number. Plus, this individual left a voicemail on my mobile, which strikes me as rather peculiar. 2. It's worth noting that I've dealt with a similar barrage of calls from the same firm last year. It's NOT my mortgage lender; it's Northern Rock attempting to sell repayment plan packages to folks like me who have interest-only mortgages. Honestly, it's not happening. I've got everything under control and I have no intention of purchasing any products or returning their calls. 3. If this were indeed my mortgage lender, they'd obviously already have my account details to hand. I mean, come on. Best to just disregard this one.

It's actually Northern Rock, attempting to sell repayment plans to those of us with interest-only mortgages, like mine. I'm simply not interested. I've got it sorted and have no intention of purchasing any products or returning their calls. 3. If this truly was my mortgage lender, surely they wouldn’t need to reach out via my mobile; they could have called my proper landline, right? Plus, she left a voicemail, which is rather odd. 2. I distinctly recall receiving a barrage of similar calls from this very company last year. Spoiler alert: it’s NOT my mortgage lender. i always make my mortgage payments on time and ive never missed one yet. i dont plan on paying it off early either. i dont trust anyone on the phone asking for security info, so it was quite frustrating. she said she would note down that i wasnt willing to do any security checks over the phone.

I experienced something rather similar today with NRAM, who prompted me to give them a call. I did a bit of digging and found out that the number belongs to their Interest Only Repayment Department. It appears they're keen on knowing when or how borrowers intend to settle their capital. It’s quite unsettling to think about making that call, as I’d rather not engage with them, especially considering I’m a mortgage holder. This approach feels a bit intrusive, bordering on harassment. I’ve never missed a payment, I have a clear repayment strategy, and my mortgage isn't particularly hefty, so I’m at a loss as to what more they expect from me.

This call came from nram. They left a voicemail asking me to call back. I checked the number, and it’s definitely from their interest only repayment team. Seems like they’re trying to get mortgage holders to update them on how or when they intend to pay off the capital. It’s a bit stressful having to ring them back since I’d rather not speak to them as a mortgage owner. Honestly, it feels kinda like harassment to me.
