My partner received a couple of letters supposedly from Admiral, each with a different policy number, both arriving on the same day. Both letters had his name spelled wrong right from the start. I also got a genuine letter from Admiral for another issue, and their layout was completely different. He hasn’t got any car insurance through Admiral at all. Even though the name, albeit misspelt, matches what's on their website, this definitely seems like a dodgy scam.

This looks like a proper scam, and a pretty convincing one at that. Got a letter supposedly from Admiral Car Insurance, but after checking closely, loads of details didn’t match up with what’s on their official site. Wouldn’t recommend calling the number or replying to any messages from them.

Scam Alert Got a letter today supposedly from Admiral, included a policy number but I’m insured with a different company. They want me to send over my council tax bill, the V5 registration, and even a photo of my driving licence. Can’t believe it!

I received a few letters about accounts I never opened - four in total, each showing different policy numbers. They claimed to be from Admiral and Elephant. They did get my address correct but had the wrong name on them. The footer on the letters looks like it was printed with an inkjet printer, which seemed a bit odd. The contact number listed was 0330 1343 255.

Hey there. Just got a letter from some insurance firm called Admiral about my car insurance being cancelled. Problem is, I don't even have a car insured with them or any of their affiliates. It's so sketchy, watch out for stuff like this!

Today, I received a rather suspicious letter from Elephant, claiming to represent Admiral Insurance. Now, here's the kicker: I've never had any dealings with Admiral at all! The letter was addressed to me, but it’s actually my wife who’s the one behind the wheel, with her insurance policy under her name. It’s high time we put an end to these dodgy scams. With all the technology available nowadays, it's imperative to stay vigilant, folks. These con artists are playing a risky game!

I recently got a rather concerning letter claiming to be from Admiral, indicating that they’ve been informed of some alterations to my information, and consequently, they plan to terminate my insurance within a week. Can you believe it? This is just a day before my renewal is set to take place! The kicker is, I’ve never held insurance with Admiral in my life, which raises all sorts of red flags for me. I'm definitely not going to ring up a dubious 0330 number just to end up racking up charges. No thank you!

I got a letter in the post today that claimed to be from Admiral Insurance, stating that my policy had run out and that I was in breach of the law by driving uninsured. It included a phone number to call - clearly a scam!

Today, I got a rather unexpected letter claiming to be from Admiral Insurance, complete with their letterhead. The correspondence included a phone number to call about a supposed IN10 driving offence that I hadn't mentioned before, and apparently, this was jeopardising my insurance coverage. I rang the number provided, and after a rather long-winded conversation, they assured me it was all a mix-up. However, I can't shake the unsettling feeling of having shared some details about my cars and their drivers. Fingers crossed that it’s not a scam, but my instincts are on high alert.
