Someone called pretending to be from Lloyds bank fraud team trying to scare me, but I knew it was a scam straight away. Don’t fall for it, they’re just trying to trick you!

A bloke named Adam rang claiming he was from JL Credit Card. I’m pretty sure he’d tried phoning me a few months back, and when I rang JL directly to check, it turned out to be a scam. He actually had an old card number of mine, but it was no longer valid since I’d already swapped the card. Total scam, do not trust!

This was obviously a scam call, the classic line about "calling from John Lewis about your credit card". They threw in some personal info to seem legit, but I know it was lifted from me ages ago. This makes the fifth time I’ve had these John Lewis scam calls. When I started having a go at them about how awful it is to steal and use other folks' cards, the bloke got annoyed and told me to f*** off. Pretty ridiculous behaviour!

Got a call claiming my contactless card was linked to Apple Pay and to call them back if I hadn’t done it. Total nonsense, but sketchy enough that I reckon they’re fishing for my bank info… be careful!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from John Lewis about my credit card being used fraudulently at TUI. They had all my details, even my address, but then asked me to give them my card number. Be careful, this sounds like a scam!

The bloke must’ve had my full name already. When I didn’t confirm if it was me, he claimed to be calling from John Lewis about fraud. Since I’d just been scammed not long ago, I said, “Oh no, not again.” Next thing, he told me to “F***k off” and slammed the phone down on me. Really rude!
