Someone rang me saying they were from Santander about a suspicious payment of over £800 to IKEA. They said I needed to approve the refund by confirming it through my banking app. They had my personal details like name, address, and card number, and told me my card was cancelled with a new one on the way. But when I checked the app, it clearly warned me not to approve any payments or trust anyone claiming to be from the bank on the phone. I mentioned this to them, and then they just ended the call.
