They called saying they were from my bank. Knew my name and which bank I was with. Told me they'd blocked some fraudulent payments. Very convincing. Eventually tried to get me to transfer my remaining balance "my new sort-code & ACC no." I refused and called my bank and they confirmed it was a scam. If the bank call you for any reason. Hang up and call them back using the phone number on your card or the one on the website.

Scammers ringin from this number. They said they were from my bank and that there was a dodgy transaction goin on. I phoned my bank and they told me it wasn’t them at all.
