Got a call from someone saying they were from NatWest, telling me my account had been hacked and some transactions from a Newcastle IP address showed up. He said the call was being recorded and he wouldn’t need any passwords or personal info. When I told him I don’t actually have an account with NatWest, he asked which bank I used instead, saying he’d need to let them know. I gave him the bank’s name, so I’m guessing I’ll be hearing from them soon.

Got a call claiming to be from Barclays asking me to verify a £44 charge at John Lewis. Pretty sure it was a scam so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Barclays after hours, telling me my card had been used online in Manchester, mentioning places like John Lewis and Screwfix. The caller’s voice was all crackly and weird. They kept saying it was legit, that the call was being recorded and I’d get an email transcript later. Haven’t heard anything since then though.
