This felt like a cleverly put together con, or at least they tried hard. The caller said they were from Amex and claimed I'd made purchases I never did. They already knew my name and postcode, which was a bit creepy. The whole time, they were fishing for my bank info but in a really roundabout, drawn-out way. I played along just to kill some time and maybe slow them down, but definitely a total scam.
