Got a call from someone looking for Frank. Told them they’d got the wrong person and asked who they were but then they just ended the call. Tried ringing back and some man picked up immediately, said he was from Barclaycard’s verification team. Didn’t trust it so I hung up and blocked the number right away. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

Totally a scam, but it showed up saying it was from HSBC.

So, I got this text that looked like it was from HSBC - it even showed up in the same chat thread as their legit messages - claiming my password had been updated. It told me to call a number if I hadn’t made the change. I decided to call HSBC myself using the number on the back of my card. They told me straight away it was a phishing scam, that they hadn’t sent me anything, and none of my account info had been touched.

I got a message saying my HSBC password was changed. It looked legit 'cause it came with other HSBC texts. I rang the bank using the number from their official site just to be safe. Turns out it was a scam. Be careful and only use numbers from the official app or website to check stuff like this.

Some bloke claimed he was with the Co Op working for Nationwide, but it all felt a bit fishy, especially with no proper security questions asked and how he spoke. Played along for about ten minutes before giving him a right telling off. He ended up shouting all sorts down the line, then I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a text from someone claiming to be 'Cooperative' but I couldn't track down the phone number anywhere. Pretty certain I don’t have any account with them. The message said: "Confirmation: New password created on 16/09 at 11:42:03. If this wasn’t you, ring 0330 133 1887" I didn’t bother ringing back, seems dodgy to me, probably a scam.

So, I got a message saying it was from Cooperative, and I rang back just to check. The guy on the line told me someone from Glasgow had my info, then started asking for my bank details and my name. I was feeling a bit off about it, so whilst talking, I looked up the number and found out it was a scam for sure. Watch out, folks!
