Spoke with someone with that posh Home Counties accent, fooled me for a good 15 minutes. They mentioned something about Barclays/Barclaycard fraud and were fishing for my card info. Then they rang me again from a number I didn’t recognise on 26/6/26. Total scam.

Got a message saying "Your Barclays password has been changed. If you didn't do this, call 0330 1330198 straight away." Problem is, I don't even have a Barclays account. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Someone called me pretending they were from Apple Pay or Barclays bank or something like that. Seemed fishy to me right from the start.
