This phone number is affiliated with a ring of con artists from India. They’ll ring you up claiming you’ve been granted a £2000 loan. Next, they will bombard you with all sorts of inquiries regarding your bank details, credit or debit card, and even your mortgage. I had to chuckle when the bloke casually mentioned that I could borrow £2000 for a year and simply repay £2000! How generous of them to offer an interest-free loan for twelve months! He boasted that I could have the £2000 transferred to my account in just five minutes, but all he required was a £45 advance payment via my debit card. Of course, once they’ve got your money, you won’t hear another peep from them. You’ve essentially forked out £45 for nothing, as there’s no loan to be found.

I've received numerous calls from this number, but once I utilised Talk Talk's complimentary service to block it, I didn't hear from them again. I recently got a Call Blocker which has effectively eliminated such calls entirely. Strangely enough, TalkTalk wouldn’t take action to block this number on their end, claiming I hadn’t been bothered by enough nuisance calls. Makes you think, doesn’t it?

It appears things have taken a rather peculiar turn for me. Lately, I've been inundated with messages from various loan firms, predominantly via text, proclaiming something along the lines of, "Carl, you've been approved for a loan of...". Every time they call, I make it quite clear that I'm not Carl, and I politely instruct them to shove off and erase my details from their records. Yet, it seems like clockwork; the moment I receive the sms, my phone buzzes with an incoming call from the same number, or other similar ones - only to find nobody on the other end. It's utterly infuriating! Why can't they just let it be? I don't even remotely resemble Carl - I'm a woman, for crying out loud - and this phone isn't even his. Why must they persist in this nonsense?

I’ve just had a chat with these persistent callers via Skype since they won’t stop ringing my phone. Thankfully, it didn’t cost me a penny! Today, I received a call from this number. The chap seemed pretty genuine, promising to secure my loan, but then he asked for £30 as a fee to process it. I know I shouldn't have, but I had shared my details with him; he was quite persuasive. Realising I didn’t actually have the funds to hand, I told him I’d ring back tomorrow to settle the payment. Out of curiosity, I looked the number up online, which led me here. He even provided me with the company’s data protection registration number, and interestingly, it matched the business he claimed to represent, Quick Loan Finance. He even shared their trading permissions - all rather convincing and information that’s easily accessible online if you look. I suspect he might be part of the company but is also trying to earn a bit on the side. When I attempted to return the call to speak with him, I had to provide my mobile number for verification so that a lady could transfer me to "Marcus."

Just a few thoughts... this number is definitely a scam. They absolutely request your banking information; however, if you try calling them back, it definitely won't set you back £150 a minute as someone previously claimed. No legitimate phone number or company would be able to charge that sort of amount. Additionally, the 0330 numbers are actually free to call within the UK!

I received a couple of calls today, both rather peculiar. Each time, there was nothing but silence on the other end before they disconnected. After the second call, I decided to ring 1471 to find out who it was. What struck me as strange is that the first call came from 003301330021, whereas the subsequent call appeared to be from 03301330021. The only notable difference was an additional zero at the front of the second number. I’ve gone over my records multiple times, and let me tell you, I certainly didn’t miswrite either number!

Over the past 48 hours, I've been inundated with numerous calls from this particular number. Each time, the caller claims I’ve successfully applied for a loan, which is absolutely untrue. When I informed the chap that I'd never made such an application, he turned rather hostile. I requested to speak to his superior, and without hesitation, he hung up! It's unmistakably a scam - they seem intent on fishing for my bank details, insisting they can get a loan approved for me, albeit for a rather dubious arrangement fee of £39.99. Should you decide to return their call, be prepared for a shock-rumour has it they could charge an eye-watering £150 per minute or even higher! It's a right stitch-up, if you ask me.
