Got a call from someone claiming I’d tried to set up a trading account with Autotrader, which wasn’t true at all. Told them I don’t do car sales and have no plans to open an account there, then they just hung up on me.

I got a call from 0330 127 3244 from some company I’ve never heard of. They said they got my number from a "third party," but when I asked who exactly, they just said they couldn’t hear me. Bit strange, really.

The caller already had my name and asked about my life insurance. I told him I already had a policy. Then he went on about how his was better with higher returns and all that rubbish. Even though I said I wasn’t interested, he just kept talking and got really pushy, so I ended up hanging up.
