UTILITY SCAM ALERT: Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with SSE. Told him I was tied up, but he just didn’t stop talking and kept butting in. I had to hang up on him. Seriously, DO NOT pick up if this number rings you! Once they know your number’s live, they’ll ring you over and over from slightly different numbers and it gets really annoying.

They were asking for bank info, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from 0330 1249137 around 3.28pm, some bloke trying to sell me cheaper gas or electricity. I said I wasn’t interested right now, but he kept pestering me for more personal info. Told him to leave me alone and he just hung up on me. I usually ignore numbers like this anyway.

Got a call from some bloke trying to flog really cheap decorating services. Not interested at all.

Got a call from this number but no message was left. I tried calling back but it showed as a withheld number. An automated voice answered and said it was “Best Quotes”, asking me to leave a message for a callback. Not interested in any quotes so I’ve just blocked the number now.
