I got a call from this number claiming to be TfL’s callback thing, but there was nobody there when I answered. Feels like they’re trying to shrink their waiting list by saying they’ve called you back, even though it’s just silence. So, I rang their main line 0343 222 1234 again but just skipped the callback option. They said they were swamped but I actually got connected to someone pretty quickly - under a minute!
