Honestly, don't pick up if these callers ring. They started off trying to push life insurance on me, and when I said no thanks, they switched straight to funeral insurance. I mean, yeah, people of all ages can pass away but my folks shouldn’t be stuck paying for that. Best to just steer clear - they keep going even if you’re polite about it. Had to just hang up in the end.

Had a look at the comments below and I reckon this is a proper scam, not just spam. I've reported it to Action Fraud like they suggested but I doubt the police or NFIB will really do much unless loads of people report it. Sadly, most wont bother, which is exactly what these scammers want. Its awful how they keep preying on vulnerable folks and carry on with it.

Got a call saying I gave my info back in June for a Life Insurance check-up, but I don’t have any life insurance and told them I don’t recall doing this and was at work so couldn’t really chat. The bloke called John was really rude, said I should stay on the line because I’d already picked up (I had told him I was expecting a personal call). He kept saying I’d signed up for this and needed a review, and I said mate, you’re not even listening. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number. Proper annoying!

So this bloke John from Life Financial Services kept ringing me up, right? Proper cheeky fella who wouldn’t take no for an answer. I’m pretty sure I told him no at least 10 times during the call but he just carried on like it was all a game. Ended with me shouting at him, lodging a complaint to his manager (which I doubt will do much) and sending them a GDPR deletion request. Their email is [email protected][###][###]. Got a call from John at Life Financial Services, proper pushy bloke. I told him no about ten times but he just wouldn’t back off. I received a phone call around quarter to eight last night from a chap who was rattling off his words at lightning speed. Honestly, I couldn't catch which company he represented or his purpose for ringing. I confronted him about the sheer audacity of calling at this hour, and he just replied with a casual "yes" (laughs). I explained that I was in the middle of settling my son down for the night and requested that he refrain from calling again. Surprisingly, he mentioned he’d ring me again the following day! Once more I insisted, “PLEASE DO NOT CALL BACK,” yet he insisted he would ring again. At that point, I decided enough was enough and hung up on him.
